Dahlias, Living Fireworks!
Mike and Carol Cichorski ‘found’ dahlias 18 years ago and their lives have not been the same since. Each year in February they plant tubers in their basement and grow about 300 plants. Member Christmas Party
It’s time for holiday cheer as Bloomingdale Garden Club celebrates with our Annual Christmas Party on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021. Once again it will be held at Jameson’s Charhouse in Bloomingdale. Improving Your Soil the Natural Way!
Ken Benson has his master’s and bachelor’s in horticulture from the University of Illinois. He is a landscape architect and was the host of cable TV’s Landscaping with Ken Benson (1992-2000). He was also a board member of Chicago Flower and Garden Show 1998-2008 and a founding board member of MELA - Midwest Ecological Landscapers Association. Ken is a past member of the Men’s Garden Club of Villa Park and has been giving programs at garden clubs since 1972.
