Location: 622 Town Rd., West Chicago. Park in the lot directly across from the entrance. Cross the street and enter the Garden on the blacktop to the LEFT of the building. There will not be a sign but we’ll have someone there to direct you into the Garden. Bloomingdale Garden Club Indoor Potluck Picnic
The term potluck was used in the Middle Ages to describe an impromptu meal served to unexpected guests or travelers. A person that would drop-in at dinner hour would get "the luck of the pot:" whatever food was left over or kept on the simmer. Join us for a casual indoor potluck gathering where each person contributes by bringing a dish to share. We will blend camaraderie, creativity and delicious food. Our event will include social time and games.

Bonsai Plants
Jeff Schulz will be teaching us the basics of design, styling and general care of Bonsai plants. Jeff's vintage farm specializes in Japanese maple, conifers, shrubs, trees, pottery, annuals and perennials. He has been providing top quality bonsai plants to Chicagoland since 1993. His business hosts several visiting Bonsai artists that teach workshops.

Holiday Craft and Elections
We will hold our club's annual election of officers. Following elections, our members will create a unique Christmas centerpiece for the West Suburban Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Each club member will add their own personal touches to the centerpieces. The residents love our annual Christmas projects and look forward to receiving them every year.

Get into the holiday spirit with your fellow gardeners! We invite you to a special holiday gathering to decorate the club Christmas tree outside of the Bloomingdale library. We will add our own festive, garden-themed touches to bring some botanical beauty to the season. West Suburban Donation Collection
You may recall that the past few years we have donated items to the West Suburban Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The generosity of our members is always amazing!
