Tomato Harvest Show & Tell

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our speaker for our July presentation will not be able to attend. It will be another meeting of gathering together and sharing. Laurie Dring will present a show-and-tell on how she processes her tomato harvest.
Laurie says, some of us love our tomatoes fresh but there’s nothing more satisfying in knowing that your tomato sauce came from the garden. I will take you from harvesting to storing in a freezer bag for future use—no part of the tomato is wasted. Sorry no canning—although I hope to be brave enough to try it some day.
Kirt Shore has also agreed to give a talk on lawn care—so this will be an interesting meeting.
We will try to continue to social distance outdoors. PLEASE BRING YOUR MASK and an outdoor chair (or two). Bring your own drinks. Only pre-wrapped foods can be shared.
