Facebooktwitterpinterestmail

Jeannie Iseman and her husband both share a passion for gardening and community building. They have spent many years using their backyard as an informal community garden for friends and neighbors. Jeannie was fascinated by the vision and mission of The GardenWorks Project and became a board member in late 2016. She is now The GardenWorks Project’s executive director.

At this presentation, Jeanie will explain the mission and vision of The Gardenworks Project, the history of the organization, and how it has grown over the last several years to impact food insecurity within our communities through gardening opportunities. She will also explain how those interested can get involved with The GardenWorks Project as a volunteer. At the end of her presentation, Jeannie will provide information on the process of harvesting and donating to local food pantries and a list of local resources.
