Presented by David Brooks of the Spring Valley Nature Center in Schaumburg
Our backyards and gardens, as well as local woods and meadows, abound with nutritious and tasty wild plants. Learn to identify, properly harvest, and prepare a variety of plants commonly found in home landscapes and local natural areas. We’ll travel through the seasons, from the first dandelions of spring to the wild apples of autumn. Visitors are welcome.
